Shipping Policy

At Downrange Gunworks, we are committed to providing safe, legal, and efficient shipping of firearms, parts, and accessories. Please read the following policy before placing an order that requires shipping.


1. Firearm Shipping (FFL Transfers Only)

  • We do not ship firearms directly to customers. All firearms must be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder.
  • You must provide the receiving FFL dealer’s information during checkout or email it to us at [Your Email] within 48 hours of purchase.
  • Firearms will only be shipped once we receive a copy of the receiving dealer’s FFL license.
  • Buyers must complete all applicable background checks at their local FFL before taking possession.
  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to know and comply with their local, state, and federal laws before purchasing.

2. NFA Item Shipping

  • All NFA items (suppressors, SBRs, etc.) require approval by the ATF via Form 4 and payment of the applicable tax stamp before shipment.
  • Items will only be shipped to another SOT-licensed FFL.
  • Downrange Gunworks will assist in the transfer process, but cannot guarantee approval timelines.

3. Accessories and Non-Firearm Items

  • Accessories, gear, apparel, and parts (not regulated by federal law) may be shipped directly to customers within the continental U.S.
  • Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days, with standard shipping times ranging from 3–7 business days depending on location and service used.
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and destination.

4. Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship:

  • Ammunition to restricted states or cities (e.g., CA, NY, IL, NJ without proper documentation).
  • Magazines over capacity limits where prohibited by law.
  • Any item to P.O. boxes.

Customers are responsible for understanding and following their local laws. Orders that cannot legally be fulfilled will be canceled and refunded, minus a 10% processing fee.


5. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Inspect all packages upon arrival. If an item arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours.
  • Lost or stolen packages must be reported to the carrier. We are happy to assist in filing claims but are not liable for carrier errors.
